Matoi Yamamoto’s salt labyrinths
In 1994, Matoi’s little sister died of brain cancer. Since then, he tries to express through his salt constructions what he can’t say through words. In Japan, salt is a ritual element and Matoi is convinced it’s made of ones memories.
